The Highcrest leadership team has a unique blend of deep investing, operating and consulting experience across multiple industries. Collectively throughout their careers, Highcrest principals have invested nearly $1 billion of equity in companies with deals worth over $5 billion in total enterprise value. Together with the Shared Services Group, Highcrest works closely with management teams to provide sound strategic and operational direction to portfolio companies.
Jared is a Managing Partner at Highcrest Management Group where he focuses on the overall strategy for Highcrest and leads originating, structuring and managing of investments.
Prior to Highcrest, Jared worked at Huntsman Gay Global Capital (now HGGC), a $1 billion private equity firm. Prior to joining Huntsman Gay, he worked at Oak Hill Capital Partners, a $7 billion private equity firm, and was responsible for investments in the Business and Financial Services industry group. While at Huntsman Gay and Oak Hill, he completed transactions and worked with portfolio companies across numerous business-services and technology industries including Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Logistics, Energy Services and Industrial Services.
Prior to joining Oak Hill, Jared held various finance positions at General Electric Company in its consumer and industrial businesses. He was responsible for leading a variety of process improvement teams as a Six Sigma Black Belt. Jared is a graduate of GE's Financial Management Program where he worked in Mergers and Acquisition Integration, Global Strategy Finance, Commercial Services and Manufacturing.
Jared earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business and his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in economics from Harvard University, where he played lacrosse.
Boyd is a Partner at Highcrest Management Group where he focuses on the overall operations of the Shared Services Group and portfolio companies. He is also responsible for various investment activities including sourcing, diligence, execution of deals and post-acquisition plans.
Prior to joining Highcrest, Boyd served in a variety of operational roles as leader of several organizations. Boyd was the General Manager of Hunter Douglas’s commercial division with P&L responsibility for North America, including leading the integration of two business units in Canada and the US. Prior to joining Hunter Douglas, Boyd was the VP of Manufacturing and Director of National Account Sales for 3form. He joined 3form’s leadership team at about $3 million in revenue, helped raise growth equity capital, and built the operations platform to sustain rapid growth through ~$30 million in revenue before 3form was acquired.
In addition to his deep operating experience, Boyd was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group focused on market entry strategies, sales and marketing strategies, and competitive benchmarking projects for clients across multiple industries. Most of his work was with clients in the financial services, technology and energy industries.
Boyd earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Brigham Young University.
